On November 29, 2022, Sage posted that they are currently investigating an issue surrounding extremely large datasets and performance in inventory list views in Sage 50 US release 2023. They encouraged any customer that encounters this issue to reach out to their support team so that they can gather more information around this potential issue.
They also mentioned that as a workaround, resetting the current column settings and refraining from adding any columns designated with an asterisk (*) will alleviate the issue for the time being. Refer to Section 2 and Section 12 in this knowledgebase article.
In an update posted as of January 3, 2023, they have said that their Sage 50 US Development team is currently developing and testing a fix for the issue and that they will post another update as soon as the fix is available.
